Alan Hammerschlag and Scott Spector formed Kodiak in 1994 as a real estate investment firm. Our goal is to acquire commercial real estate, predominantly retail shopping centers, in the Mid-Atlantic region for long-term investment and redevelopment. Since Kodiak’s inception, we have assembled a portfolio of more than thirty properties containing over three million square feet; the majority of these properties are shopping centers. Kodiak's portfolio also includes: office space, industrial space, and apartment buildings.
